Distance
Distance plays an important role in deciding the final cost of moving. In case of intercity or domestic relocations, the moving cost mainly depends on the distance to be travelled between the two locations. THE LONGER THE DISTANCE MORE IT EXPENSIVE.
Man Power
The number of men required to complete a relocation process will depend on the size of the move and the number of items to be shifted to the new place. The bigger the size of the house and the belongings, more will be the manpower required and hence, more will be the price of the shifting.
Insurance
Although this is an optional service, but it is always a better option in case of long-distance moves to ensure the safety of goods while in transit. It allows you to demand compensation in case your goods get damaged or misplaced. The insurance is equal to 3% of the total declared value of your goods.
Vehicle Type
Smaller vehicle are much cheaper than the bigger ones, but they can be expensive if they do many rounds. So, depending on the number of and size of the items needs to be relocated, choose your one!
Additional Service
The services related to installation and uninstalling of AC, mounting of television on the wall, geyser installation, unpacking, disassembly, assembly, arrangement of items in the new home, etc. will be chargeable to the moving cost.
